The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is to throw its weight behind the Australia-based charity Bright Sparqe. Bright Sparqe connects other charities in need to businesses who have surplus products and food to donate and aims to simplify the process of redistributing goods to charities, while assisting vulnerable communities and facilitating the reduction of waste. MCEC has creating an account for adding the details of products and unused food organisations wish to donate.
